Jay-Z Wore A FRÈRE Suit To His RocNation Pre-Grammy Brunch And We Want In
Shawn Carter, Jay-Z, attended his annual Roc Nation brunch and showed up once again, wearing a FRÈRE suit by Haitian designer Davidson Petit-Frère. The look was creative directed & styled by June Ambrose.
The story behind designer, Davidson Petit-Frère is quite an interesting one. Frère who started when he was 22 years old, originally set out to be in the Real Estate industry. As he continued to progress in the field, he realized that his business started to change when he began taking his appearance into account as he was meeting with clients. From there, he enlisted in a local tailor that would assist in making his custom suits.
Self-taught, he became more intuitive in colors, fabric swatches, and overall looks.
