While at home, I’ve been looking for ways to keep my space clean and toxic-free. Due to COVID-19, we’ve all began taking extra precautions around our home to ensure every space we touch is clean. I found myself running to the store at least once a week to get a new disinfecting cleaner and after reviewing my expenses for the month, I knew there had to be an alternative. Cue DIY multi-purpose cleaners. Once realizing that I had everything I needed in my house to create the best smelling multi-purpose cleaner, I knew that I could have a better stance on maintaining a clean home. Here’s what you will need:

INSTRUCTIONS
Add citrus peels and scraps to your glass jar. Cover citrus with the vinegar. Add 3-4 drops of essential oil or other antiseptic herbs to your jar. Shake well. Sit on a counter for 12-24 hours to allow everything to mix. Once infused, strain mixture through a cheesecloth or nut milk bag. Add the strained liquid to a glass spray bottle. Discard peels how you wish.
This is great for your shower, tub, kitchen counters, cutting boards, and stainless steel appliances.
